Physical

Hello everyone-
The physical went really well. I was pretty nervous but once I got going I got much more comfortable (TWSS). I was trying to hit my partner's tricept reflex and I hit her funny bone and she started shaking her hand and she let out a yelp. Pretty embarrassing but we both just started laughing. I also had to she her how to do a self-breast exam on a model of two breasts. That was really a good time. I was allowed to use a 3x5 card with notes on it so once I was finished I took a minute to make sure I didn't miss anything and I found 2 things I forgot so that was cool.
I was in a mock exam room in our nursing lab and was being watched through a one way mirror and video taped. Pretty nerve racking. But needless to say I got a 98%! I was graded by a pediatric nurse practitioner, so it was really amazing to get compliments from someone with my dream job.

So i officially am a student again. at UP (university of palomar) and i am 3/4 classes on the day, last one starts a 6. so i had speech, astronomy, and astronomy lab so far and my 2 professors are really great. my speech teacher is a crack up, makes 8am so much fun, and he was dean for 10 years and he's the most laid back person i've ever met. just thought i'd let you all know that i am VERY happy at school. love love love, sweet pctures jakem and i want to hear bout that physical jess..

Happy New Year!

Ya I know it is the 22nd, but after being at Ryan's parents for a few days then in Santa Barbara for 5 more days, I recently got a hold of my computer, and thus my photos. Jake- it was fun having you down and going out with us. It turns out we think Ryan was roofied because he drank some drinks some strange guy ordered for Dana's friend...it would make sense. Anyway- when are you coming again?

I have to do a half hour physical on a class mate tomorrow in front of a bunch of nurses, and I have to be videotaped. Wish me luck!

Past and Future

Hello siblings~
So i got to see jess in santa barbara when kate and i went up and visited jac for a SAE frat party which was amazing and gross, and tons of fun. and then i spent a day in long beach, came home for possibly 48 hours, and then went back to long beach for 3 more days-- i went sailing for the first time too, it was the best thing ever! i loved every second of it for like 4 hours. its been really nice to be home from redlands, but not home home... finally doing some partying and having a lot of fun. I have school wednesday this week ALL DAY LONG, but then kidder and i are going to go to long beach to see kate and breeze. i finished my room so i'll post pictures for jake, and i'll try to post some more from my recent adventures. love love love
